Rocker turned reality star Bret Michaels has launched a new men’s fragrance called Roses & Thorns. Michaels launched the cologne on Home Shopping Network’s (HSN) 24 Hour Beauty Event at 2 am ET/11 pm PT Thursday, January 30th with a late night in studio appearance to discuss the new scent.
“This is one of those [fragrances] that [men] will stick with because what happens is as you put it on, you’re like, ‘This rocks! It’s good,'” he states. “It can definitely promote a good scent. I think also, it’s simple. It’s a simple fragrance, but it smells really, really– again, manly. It’s not gender neutral, that’s for sure.”
Michaels also assured viewers that the new cologne has taken some time to concoct and that it’s well worth the purchase.
“Because you don’t have a chance on air — you don’t have a chance to be able to smell this,” he asserts. “You can trust in me that I worked really hard from the ground up that you will not be unsatisfied.”
Roses & Thorne Cologne is described as an exhilarating scent with a mysterious kicker that women love. Its ingredients include Top Notes featuring petitgrain, juniperberry and bergamot, Heart Notes with lavendar, clary sage and orange blossom and Base Notes with tobacco leaf, sandalwood, amber and musk.
A 3.4 fl. oz. bottle retails for $70.19, but HSN viewers can get it for $49.90 with three flex payments of $16.63 and free shipping and handling. HSN is also including Michael’s collaborative album Jammin’ With Friends CD free of charge for a limited time only featuring tracks with Miley Cyrus, Jimmy Buffett, Loretta Lynn and many more. When the cologne is available elsewhere, it will be priced around $60 and the CD will be sold separately.

Michaels will discuss the cologne again on HSN at 8 pm ET/5 PT on Thursday, January 30th.
