Brian Kelley announces headlining Sunshine State of Mind Tour

The run features 19 dates this summer

With the start of summer just around the corner, Brian Kelley announces his headlining Sunshine State of Mind Tour. Featuring 19 dates and his beach country style, the run will kick off July 24th in Savannah, Georgia, before wrapping up September 7th in Raleigh, North Carolina. Cruising from his home state of Florida up to Delaware, and beyond, tickets are first available via an exclusive fan presale on Kelleyโ€™s new mobile app, the Brian Kelley Fan Club, available now for members, with a general public on-sale beginning Friday, May 2nd at 10 am local time.

Teasing this exciting tour news first with fans on the app, Kelleyโ€™s created a unique place for exclusive content, concert presales, and VIP discounts. With different membership tiers available, the app is the best way to connect directly with Kelley โ€“ hear unreleased music, join in on livestreams, and check out what heโ€™s up to right before he takes the stage.

The trek nods to Kelleyโ€™s Sunshine State Of Mind, Season One (2021). Season Two, Chapter One of that project is already on the way, with the first release out now called โ€œPalm Tree Country.โ€

Mixing twang and tan lines for the ultimate getaway anthem, the breezy beachfront ballad was written by Kelley with Jake Rose, Blake Redferrin, and Canaan Smith. Filled with tropical chill-Country imagery and Kelleyโ€™s signature turn of phrase โ€“ first made famous on the diamond-selling โ€œCruiseโ€ โ€“ โ€œPalm Tree Countryโ€ is all about checking out of the everyday grind, and getting into an all-inclusive headspace. Letting the tide wash all worries away in the Katlin Owen-produced track, warm guitars, laid-back island percussion, and a little ukulele join Kelleyโ€™s classic Country vocal further capturing the serene, shady perfection of sand and acoustic vibration โ€“ no matter your location. Itโ€™s the natural sonic habitat for Countryโ€™s โ€œBeach Cowboy,โ€ and an unplugged track perfect for unplugging.

The run follows Kelley just opening for Travis Tritt last week. He launched his first-ever solo headline debut, the Made By the Water Tour, to sold-out crowds in spring 2022, and has been hosting wildly successful Surf Post Sessions ever since. Held in the backyard of the Tribe Kelley Surf Post in Grayton Beach, Florida (which Kelley owns with his wife, Brittney), the intimate concert series has boasted over 40 sold-out headline shows, including a recent Spring Break run.
