For those looking to take their songwriting to the next level, look no further than the Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp set to feature songwriting legend Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys and Jeff Beck, one of the best guitarists of all time. The camp, happening April 18th to April 21st, is being held in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Wilson was the brain behind the dozens of hits by the Beach Boys, including songs such as “California Girls” and “Good Vibrations.” Beck is best known for his guitar skills, and has won six Grammy Awards for his rock instrumentals.
But just how much would the experience to “jam out” with these Rock and Roll Hall of Famers set you back, you ask? Right now the “early bird” registration for the four day event is just a cool $6,499 for the “Headliner” package which includes a chance to write and record an original song with the rockers, perform live at the MGM Grand, attend an opening night cocktail party and dinner, receive a DVD of the final show, attend daily master classes and jam session and receive cool rock swag.
Campers can also add an eight hour recording session for an additional $2500. Other add-ons are available. Visit rockcamp.com to purchase tickets before they’re gone.
But the experience is promised to be priceless, of course.
Other upcoming camps include Sammy Hagar from March 5-9 and Def Leppard from April 4-7.
