Adams tested positive at last minute

Bryan Adams was forced to cancel an appearance during the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on Saturday (Oct 30th) after testing positive for COVID-19. Adams was scheduled to appear during a tribute to Tina Turner which featured a medley of songs, including the pair’s duet on “It’s Only Love,” but had to pull out due to the diagnosis.

Adams’ last minute cancelation was first made known during SiriusXM’s live backstage coverage of the event when H.E.R. revealed to Feedback‘s Nik Carter and Lori Majewski and Debatable‘s Mark Goodman and Alan Light that Keith Urban was called to fill in for Adams. At the time, the reasoning of Adams’ cancelation was not yet made public.

Adams was set to perform alongside H.E.R. in recreating the Adams/Turner duet with Urban trading vocals and guitar licks with the R&B superstar.

A rep for Adams confirms that he is fully vaccinated and asymptomatic.

Fellow rocker Jon Bon Jovi was forced to cancel a fan club performance after testing positive on Saturday as well. He is also fully vaccinated and “feeling fine.”

Kiss, Tesla, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Foo Fighters, Buckcherry, Korn, Mammoth WVH and The Cadillac Three are among those who have been forced to postpone or cancel dates due to an active case within their touring camps, including some band members themselves.
