Adams tests positive after landing in Italy

Bryan Adams has tested positive for COVID for the second time within a month. The Canadian rocker shared the news on Thursday (Nov 25th), stating he received a positive test after landing in Italy.

“Here I am, just arrived in Milano, and I’ve tested positive for the second time in a month for COVID. So it’s off to the hospital for me. Thanks for all your support,” he writes on Instagram.

The singer, who also has a second career as a photographer, flew into Milan to promote his work in Pirelli’s 2022 calendar that features photos he took of Cher, Jennifer Hudson, Rita Ora, St. Vincent, Saweetie and others. This is Pirellis’ 48th calendar but the first music themed one, a concept Adams created.

Adams is scheduled for a press event on Sunday and Monday, but no word if he’ll still attend.

Adams first tested positive for COVID on October 30th when he was set to appear Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony in Cleveland. He was forced to cancel at the last minute with Keith Urban stepping in his place to perform as part of a Tina Turner tribute.

At the time, a rep for Adams confirmed that he is fully vaccinated and asymptomatic. No word on his condition in Milan.
