K-pop superstars BTS is set to take their unrivaled live shows to the next level with their forthcoming Map of the Soul Tour kicking off April 11th in their native Seoul’s Olympic Stadium. The 37 date tour will take the record-breaking group to 17 cities across three continents visiting brand new cities, audiences and iconic venues in support of their upcoming fourth album, Map of the Soul: 7, due February 21st via Big Hit Entertainment.
BTS Global Official Fan Club Army members will have the first chance to purchase Ticketmaster Verified Fan presale tickets beginning at 3 pm local time on Wednesday, February 5th until 11 pm local time on Thursday, February 6th. The General Verified Fan presale will begin at 3 pm local time on Thursday, February 6th through 11 pm local time that same day. Fan club registration is open until Sunday, February 2nd at 10 pm ET via Ticketmaster Verified Fan.
Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, February 7th at 3 pm local time at LiveNation.com.
The group, who has been hailed as “the new kings of pop” by the Los Angeles Times, continue to receive critical and fan acclaim at every turn for their larger-than-life performances and production.
The news follows the release of lead single, “Black Swan,” an all-new Emo hip hop track that meshes a touch of Cloud rap, trap drum beats, doleful lo-fi guitar sounds, and a catchy hook. The track dives deep into BTS’ inner selves as artists and faces the shadows they had once hidden. The song is a 360 degree turn from last year’s Map of the Soul: Persona album where the K-pop superstars explored the message of finding joy in love and reaching out to the world, while standing at the beginning of a quest to find one’s true self.
