BTS hosting online weekend concert livestreams

Weekend event is April 18-19th

BTS has prepared a special online weekend concert livestream called BTS Online Concert Weekend “Bang Bang Con.” The special online streaming event consisting of eight parts is available for free and will take place on April 18-19th, each day beginning from noon KST/11 pm ET via the official YouTube channel BANGTANTV.

On the first day, fans will be able to watch 2015 BTS LIVE , 2016 BTS LIVE , BTS 2014 LIVE TRILOGY : EPISODE II THE RED BULLET and BTS 3RD MUSTER [ARMY.ZIP+].

The following day will play 2017 BTS LIVE TRILOGY EPISODE III THE WINGS TOUR IN SEOUL, 2017 TRILOGY EPISODE III THE WINGS TOUR THE FINAL, BTS 4TH MUSTER [HAPPY EVER AFTER] and BTS WORLD TOUR ‘LOVE YOURSELF’ SEOUL.

For an enhanced experience, fans can access a new system provided by Big Hit Entertainment that connects the Army Bomb, the official light stick, through the Weverse app. By utilizing the Bluetooth function on Weverse during Bang Bang Con, the Army Bomb can be linked and synched to the performance so that it changes color according to the song in real time, as if the viewers were in the actual concert venue.

In February, the group released Map of the Soul: 7 via Big Hit Entertainment. The record consists of a total of 20 tracks, including collaborations with Sia and Halsey. Fifteen brand new songs are added on top of tracks from Map of the Soul: Persona released last April. The K-pop superstars placed No. 1 on the Billboard 200, as well as No. 4 on Billboard’s Hot 100 Chart, making them the fastest group since the Beatles to generate four albums at the top of Billboard 200.

The group has postponed their Map of the Soul Tour due to the COVID-19 crisis. New dates are TBA for North America, but still have summer dates for Japan and Europe.
