Best of collection features Japanese versions of their biggest hits

Big Hit Entertainment, in partnership with Geffen and Interscope, is set to release BTS The Best on August 6th. The compilation will features Japanese versions of the K-pop superstars’ biggest hits in several configurations, all considered limited edition sets.

The 2 CD edition will be housed in a standard jewel case and contain a 36 page lyric booklet with three photo cards.

Limited Edition A contains 2 CDs and Blu-ray Disc that will be housed in a deluxe slipcase digipak and contain the 36-page photo booklet with one square photo card.

Limited Edition B contains 2 CDs and 2 DVDs with 36-page photo booklet and one square photo card in deluxe slipcase.

Limited Edition C includes 2 CDs, 112-page photo booklet with two stickers and one square photo card in deluxe slipcase digipak.

The CDs feature 23 tracks across two discs, including the new track “Film Out,” “DNA” and their first-ever English language single, “Dynamite,” which saw them become the first Korean pop act to top the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The Blu-ray features six of their music videos and additional “making of” clips for the same videos. A seventh “making of” takes fans behind the scenes of their album cover shoots. The same 13 videos are split into two DVDs with the six music videos on DVD one and the “making of” clips on DVD two.

The Best follows the recently announced “Butter” CD single and box set slated for July 9th, the same day when the BTS ARMY was founded. The disc features “Butter,” the band’s fourth chart-topping single in less than a year, and a new track. The limited edition CD box set will be available in two versions: Peaches or Cream, and will be distributed at random when ordered.
