Song will drop later this month

K-pop icons BTS has revealed a soundtrack called “The Planet” for an animated film Bastions. “The Planet” is the official main soundtrack of the 3D action-hero animation which tells a story of rookie heroes called Bastions fighting against villains who destroy the environment.

The song’s lyrics reflect on the importance of the planet Earth that we live on. The cheerful and rhythmical bassline stands out with a hopeful melody that’s easy to sing along. The seven members of BTS highlight the song in refreshing voices and individual charms.

Bastions will be aired on Korean broadcasting station SBS on May 14th.

“The Planet” will be released on May 25th in several formats, including deluxe form with a photobook, a photo card, lyric book, stickers, group photo frame, signed posters and more.
