CD single box set available July 9th

K-Pop superstars BTS have unveiled that “Permission to Dance” will be featured on the “Butter” CD single box set coming next week. The song was written by Ed Sheeran, Steve Mac, Jenna Andrews and Johnny McDaid and produced by Mac, Andrews and Stephen Kirk. “Permission to Dance” is described as a new track that will “get your heart pumping.”

The limited edition CD box set, available July 9th on the day the BTS ARMY was founded, will be available in two versions: Peaches or Cream, and will be distributed at random when ordered. Instrumental versions of both songs round out the track listing.

Each box will contain a poster, photo book, two lyrics cards, instant photo card, graphic sticker, one of eight randomly inserted photo cards, one of seven randomly inserted folded message cards and a photo stand.

All sales count towards the Korean Hanteo and Gaon charts, not the Billboard charts.

“Butter” remains on top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart for five consecutive weeks. Out of the 54 songs to launch on No. 1, it’s the 11th song to remain at the summit in the first five weeks. “Butter” is also the second longest reigning song from its debut by a group in the chart’s history and is the band’s fourth chart-topping single in less than a year.

August 6th will see the group release The Besta 2 CD compilation featuring Japanese versions of their biggest hits. Several limited edition configurations will be available featuring 23 tracks with a Blu-ray and DVD component containing several “making of” videos. The compilation, released via Big Hit Entertainment in partnership with Geffen and Interscope, contains “Film Out,” “DNA” and their first-ever English language single, “Dynamite,” which saw them become the first Korean pop act to top the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
