Bullet For My Valentine releases ‘You Want A Battle? (Here’s A War)’ from ‘Venom’

UK metal juggernaut Bullet For My Valentine releases their brand new single, “You Want A Battle? (Here’s A War),” from their highly anticipated new album, Venom, which is due out on August 14th via RCA Records. Fans are invited to pre-order the album on standard CD, Deluxe Edition CD and two LP vinyl with the Deluxe Edition CD featuring a lenticular cover for a limited time only. The band also announces that their new video for “You Want A Battle? (Here’s A War)” will be unveiled on Monday, June 29th.

Produced by Carl Bown and Colin Richardson (Slipknot, Machine Head, Trivium) at Metropolis Studio in London, Venom is an unrelenting, fierce step forward for Bullet For My Valentine. Their heaviest record to date sinks its teeth into listeners with a powerful delivery by vocalist/guitarist Matt Tuck, ferocious riffs by guitarist Michael “Padge” Paget and rapid-fire rhythm courtesy of drummer Michael “Moose” Thomas.

On the album, the trio maintains their signature balance of heavy, coupled with surging melody, and pushes themselves to the next level. Bullet For My Valentine’s progression of sound is evident, presenting a harder delivery and a more complex song structure, as witnessed on the band’s crushing “No Way Out.”

In addition to the news of the upcoming record, Bullet For My Valentine has also announced they’ve recruited fellow Welsh musician Jamie Mathias to join the band as their new bass player and backup vocalist.

Bullet For My Valentine’s new single, “You Want A Battle? (Here’s A War),” follows the band’s recently released track “No Way Out,” which has quickly become a favorite with fans around the world. Both songs are featured on the band’s long-awaited fifth studio album that was produced by Carl Bown and Colin Richardson (Slipknot, Machine Head, Trivium) and due out in August.

The new single, “You Want A Battle? (Here’s A War),” drops, just a week before Bullet For My Valentine kicks off their world tour in support of Venom. Catch the band on tour with Slipknot and Lamb of God in the U.S. this summer! Tickets are on sale now.
