Callum Kerr announces debut EP, Grand Ole Opry debut

Roots Under Meย will drop this summer

During his performance at ONErpmโ€™s Whiskey Jam Takeover last week, Callum Kerr was surprised with the news that he will be making his Grand Ole Opry debut this summer. The invitation came via a special video message from country star Dustin Lynch, who personally welcomed the actor/musician to the iconic Opry stage. Kerr is set to perform on July 26th, marking a major milestone in his rapidly growing country music career.

โ€œIf the kid who first heard and fell in love with country music at 17 when he moved to Texas, knew that one day heโ€™d play at its greatest stage, heโ€™d lose his mindโ€ Kerr states of the honor. โ€œI couldnโ€™t be more grateful for the opportunity. Another feather in the cap on this journey through the best genre of music in the world.”

Additionally, Kerr has officially announced the release of his debut EP, Roots Under Me, set to drop on July 25th via ONErpm/Huff Co. The project features six standout tracks that showcase his heartfelt songwriting and is a classic country collage of love songs, breakup songs, drinking songs and more.

Kerr has also been confirmed for performances at CMA Fest in Nashville in June. This marks the first time he will be performing at the longest-running country music festival.

In addition to his music career, Kerr is also an actor appearing in 13 different movies and TV series including Monarch on Fox, Wheel of Time on Amazon and Virgin River and One Piece, both on Netflix.
