Camila Cabello, Gwen Stefani join ‘The Voice’ for fall 2022

Season 22 premieres this fall on NBC

Camila Cabello and Gwen Stefani will join John Legend and Blake Shelton as Coaches on The Voice when it returns to NBC this fall. Host Carson Daly also returns for the show’s 22nd season during its Monday and Tuesday time slots.

Cabello and Stefani replace Kelly Clarkson and Ariana Grande as Coaches. The show often sees an alternating panel of celebrity judges. Clarkson who is a 3x Voice champ, is stepping down after eight years to focus on The Kelly Clarkson Show while Grande is leaving after her first year.

Blake Shelton is the longest running judge, having been in the Coach’s chair since season one premiered in 2011 and winning eight times. Legend has coached the last four seasons with Stefani stepping in for six seasons over the past nine years. This will be Cabello’s reality judging debut.

The show’s innovative format features four stages of competition where undiscovered American musicians compete during the Blind Auditions, Battle Rounds, Knockouts and Live Performance Shows to see who will be crowned the next Voice.

NBC has yet to announce a premiere date for season 22.
