Celine Dion cancels more Las Vegas shows due to vocal chords

Celine Dion has canceled four more shows at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas for vocal chord problems.

Dion has been receiving treatment for acute inflammation and swelling in the muscles adjacent to her vocal chords since July 30th, when she was forced to cancel five shows. After being examined by her physicians earlier today (August 5th), it was determined that she will require further rest in order to achieve a 100% recovery.

The following shows have been canceled:

Friday, August 8th
Saturday, August 9th
Tuesday, August 12th
Wednesday, August 13th

Regularly scheduled performances beginning Friday, August 15th will resume as planned, including the dates below:

Aug: 15, 16, 19, 20, 22, 23, 26, 27, 30, 31

Dion, Caesars Palace, and AEG apologize for any inconvenience this causes ticket holders, but are not responsible for any travel arrangements related to the cancellation of any of these, or possible future, performances.

Ticket holders are subject to refund. Credit card orders will be refunded automatically while those who purchased with cash need to present their tickets to the original point of sale for a refund.

Fans wanting to purchase tickets for future performances can do so in person at The Colosseum Box Office, by calling 1-877-4CELINE or 888-9-AXS-TIX, online at thecolosseum.com or celineinvegas.com.
