Chad Smith, Andrew Watt announce second New York City performance

Smith & Watt Steakhouse to take over the Brooklyn Bowl on September 18th

Grammy Award-winning producer Andrew Watt and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith are teaming up to announce their highly anticipated second New York City performance. The cover band extravaganza, under the moniker Smith & Watt Steakhouse, will take over the Brooklyn Bowl on Wednesday, September 18th. General admission tickets are available for $65 at Ticketmaster.

This exciting announcement comes on the heels of the duo’s first New York performance which took place at the Stephen Talkhouse in the Hamptons on August 20th. The show garnered an extreme amount of buzz, as Watt and Smith were joined on stage by legendary music icon Paul McCartney.

Watt is one of the industry’s most-buzzed-about collaborators and producers. He’s worked with Justin Bieber, Ozzy Osbourne, Cardi B., Post Malone, Dua Lipa, Metallica, Stevie Wonder, Miley Cyrus, Bruno Mars, Shawn Mendes, Elton John, Lana Del Rey, Mick Jagger, Brandi Carlile, Paul McCartney, Smokey Robinson and Lady Gaga, to name a few. In 2021, Watt took home his first Grammy Award for Producer of the Year at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards for his work on Ozzy Osbourne’s Ordinary Man, Miley Cyrus’ Plastic Hearts, Dua Lipa’s Future Nostalgia, and Post Malone’s Hollywood’s Bleeding.

Red Hot Chili Peppers recently concluded their multi-year Unlimited Love Tour, officially ranking them among the top three rock tours of the 2020s. The massive global tour initially kicked off in June 2022 and continued with multiple legs around the world over the past few years. The two-year trek saw the LA-based rockers perform 66 stadium shows on 86 headlining dates in 20 countries with 3.4 million attendees. The tour supported the band’s two No. 1 studio albums released in 2022, Unlimited Love and Return of the Dream Canteen.
