Charlie Daniels’ ‘Volunteer Jam XX’ gets CD, TV release date

Blackbird Presents and AXS TV are proud to announce the broadcast premiere and music release of Volunteer Jam XX: A Tribute To Charlie Daniels. The broadcast and music release features a collection of legendary singers, songwriters, and superstars who came together to celebrate Charlie Daniels’ twentieth Volunteer Jam at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee this March.

AXS TV will premiere the two-hour broadcast on Sunday, August 19th at 10 pm ET, and Blackbird Presents will release a 2 CD set of select songs which will be available October 12th.

Volunteer Jam XX: A Tribute To Charlie Daniels broadcast special features captivating performances, in-depth interviews, and behind-the-scenes footage with Charlie Daniels, The Charlie Daniels Band, Alabama, Billy F Gibbons, Blackberry Smoke, Chris Young, Chris Janson, Chuck Leavell, Devon Allman, Duane Betts, Eddie Montgomery, Justin Moore, Lee Brice, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Ricky Skaggs, Sara Evans, Steep Canyon Rangers, The Oak Ridge Boys, and Travis Tritt. Performances include a range of classics, such as “The Devil Went Down To Georgia” (performed by Charlie Daniels & The Charlie Daniels Band), “Mountain Music” (Performed by Alabama), “La Grange” (Performed by Billy F Gibbons), and an all-star grand finale performance of “One Way Out.”
