Chase Matthew shares ‘Missin’ Me Missin’ You’

The hard-hitting power ballad is available now

Warner Music Nashville’s Chase Matthew delivers a dose of the hard truth in “Missin’ Me Missin’ You,” as he doubles down on a breakup that’s staying in the past. Written by the hitmaker with Brock Berryhill, Taylor Phillips, and Lydia Vaughan, the hard-hitting power ballad is all about romantic regret – just not Matthew’s. The follow-up to September’s “Backroads Of My Mind,” its lyrics find an ex second-guessing the end of a romance, and hoping to turn back the clock. But sometimes you just have to lie in the bed you’ve made.

Produced by Austin Shawn and Berryhill, a pitch-black mix of Country and Hard Rock features heavy-handed drums, overdriven guitars, and Matthew’s sturdy, smoldering vocal, as the rising star lays out a new reality. With an ice-cold flow and smooth, steely resolve, he gathers his pride and takes a stand – this time, there’s no going back.

Turning the ignition on another new chapter, this new music rollout succeeds a year of red-hot success for Matthew – including currently charging country radio with new single “Darlin’” after landing Top 5 with his gold-certified debut single, “Love You Again,” and officially becoming a Billboard Hot 100-charting artist, in addition to delivering back-to-back collaborations with Flo Rida (“Floats Your Boat”) and Fernando & Sorocaba (“Cold Blooded”). Surpassing 145 shows in 2024 alone and entertaining over one million fans with his high-energy live performances across the country, the Nashville native has an upcoming bucket list billing when he makes his highly anticipated hometown headline debut at the historic Ryman Auditorium on February 21, 2025.
