Cheat Codes, Demi Lovato ‘No Promises’ video released

Electronic/pop trio Cheat Codes have released the new music video for their latest global, smash single “No Promises”, featuring multi-platinum selling and Grammy nominated vocalist Demi Lovato.

Directed by Hannah Lux Davis (Ariana Grande ft. Nicki Minaj “Side to Side”, Machine Gun Kelly ft. Camila Cabello “Bad Things”, Demi Lovato “Cool For The Summer”), the video was shot outside of Los Angeles in a desolate rural area featuring abandoned buildings and surrounded by panoramic mountains. Amidst these landscapes are striking performances of Cheat Codes and Lovato together, setting the tone for a collage of beautiful imagery that ignites a feeling of living in the now— being present and unguarded.

The “No Promises” music video comes on the heels of the single’s March 31st release, via 300 Entertainment, in which time the song has quickly amassed over 75+ million worldwide streams across multiple platforms including Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube. The song is seeing explosive worldwide growth where it’s currently blazing up the charts in the U.K., Ireland, Australia and the nordic region. Additionally, with “No Promises”, Cheat Codes have quickly crossed 1 billion cumulative career streams to date. They are presently among the 50 most streamed artists in the world on Spotify as they continue to display their undeniable ability to produce catchy pop hooks.

On Monday, May 22nd, Cheat Codes will make their late night U.S. television debut alongside Lovato on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, marking their first televised performance of “No Promises.” For air times please check local listings.

The group will continue on their No Promises World Tour through September 27th, including U.S. stops this summer at the Hangout Festival in Gulf Shores Alabama on May 20th and Lollapalooza in Chicago on August 3rd.

Cheat Codes’ previous single “Shed A Light” with David Guetta and Robin Schulz reached the top 30 on Spotify and Shazam with 175 million cumulative streams. The song has reached #1 on German radio, #4 on the official trending charts in the UK, and recently went Gold in Australia & Sweden. The accompanying music video has over 30 million views on YouTube and counting. Additionally, the group has had continued success with the release of their 2016 singles “Sex”, “Turn Me On”, and “Queen Elizabeth”. “Sex” and “Turn Me On” have been streamed more than 450 million and 237 million times, respectively. The group also toured extensively in the past year, most notably with DJ/producer duo The Chainsmokers.
