The new single drops as the R&B superstar earns 21 new RIAA certifications
Two-time Grammy winning global R&B superstar Chris Brown releases new single “Holy Blindfold” out now via Chris Brown Entertainment/RCA Records. The single premiered nationwide across hundreds of the biggest radio networks, including iHeartMedia, Urban One, SiriusXM, Cumulus Media, Audacy, Summit Media, Townsquare Media and Alpha Media, so that fans all over the country tuning in got the first listen. This release continues the kickoff celebrations of his global stadium tour, Breezy Bowl XX, which started this past Sunday.
This is Brown’s first solo release since his Grammy Award-winning album 11:11 (Deluxe), which won him his second Grammy in 13 years for Best R&B Album. This album also had the RIAA platinum, Grammy0nominated hit single “Residuals.” Chris Brown was also the musician with the most wins this year at the NAACP Image Awards garnering three awards, including one for Outstanding Male Artist, which he’s won four times and is tied with Usher for winning the most times. This past weekend he won two more awards – Best Male R&B/Pop Artist and Viewer’s Choice Award for “Residuals” – this time at the 2025 BET Awards. To date, Chris Brown currently stands as the R&B singer with the most Hot 100 entries in Billboard history. And with his additional 21 new RIAA certifications, Brown is in the top ten of all artists across all genres with the most RIAA multi-platinum certifications.
Presented by Live Nation, Breezy Bowl XX tour kicked off in Europe on June 8th in Amsterdam. The run features support from three of R&B’s powerhouses — seven-time Grammy nominated artist Jhené Aiko, who closed out 2024 with a 37 date sold-out Magic Hour arena tour, added as a special guest on select U.S. shows, Grammy nominated multi-platinum hitmaker Summer Walker—appearing on select North American dates, and triple Grammy nominated and multi-platinum selling artist, Bryson Tiller, who will join as a special guest in select North America and Europe shows. The tour follows Brown’s successful 2024 11:11 Tour, which saw multiple sold-out dates around the world and reaffirmed his global fan reach.
