Fan favorite “Hawaii On Me” is featured

Warner Music Nashville’s platinum-selling, multi-instrumentalist Chris Janson, who is known for his high-octane performances, is stripping it down with the release of four acoustic performances of songs recorded at the Acuff House in Nashville, TN. The tunes included on the new Stripped Down Acoustics release are fan favorites from Janson’s acclaimed Real Friends album.

“Performing songs in an acoustic setting is how most of the songs I write begin,” says Janson. “I am excited to present these tracks the way they were initially created.”

In addition to the audio tracks, one video is being released for “Hawaii on Me.”

“I wrote this song with my wife, Kelly, and it’s a special one for sure,” Jason reflects. “It’s based on a true story about a father who told his family before he passed away, ‘Don’t be sad. Please promise me you’ll keep our tradition of going on family vacations and enjoy Hawaii on me.’”

Janson was recently named by award-winning radio personality and American Idol mentor Bobby Bones as one of the “Top 6 Best Live Performers” in country music. Janson is thrilled to be “Back at It” and doing live performances again with tour dates via his website.
