Live Nation has confirmed The Classic East and The Classic West concerts will be happening this summer in Los Angeles and New York City. The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Steely Dan, The Doobie Brothers, Journey and Earth, Wind & Fire are confirmed for the event, as previously reported.
The concerts are July 15-16 at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles and July 29-30 at Citi Field in New York City. The Eagles, Steely Dan and The Doobie Brothers are set to headline both Saturday events, while Fleetwood Mac, Journey and Earth, Wind & Fire will perform both Sundays.
Tickets go on sale Friday, April 7th at 10 am local time via Ticketmaster. A variety of pre-sales begin April 3rd. Ticket prices range from $150-$950 for general admission two day tickets. No single day tickets will be sold. Each ticket is admission into both days in each city. Several VIP packages will also be available ranging from $795 to $2750 per single ticket, with the latter guaranteeing front row access, unspecified photo opportunities, a VIP gift bag and more.
This will be the first time The Eagles have reunited since their tribute to co-founder Glenn Frey at last year’s Grammy Awards. Frey died in January 2016 from a combination of rheumatoid arthritics, ulcerative colitis and pneumonia.
