Walker clears up the confusion
A profanity-laced video of Clay Walker berating his bus driver has gone viral on TikTok. It’s unclear what caused the incident as the minute-long clip begins in the midst of the tirade, but Walker was not happy with the driver for several reasons.
“I’m coming over here and I’m going to tell you something. I can whip your ass with one hand tied behind my back. Don’t say a fucking word,” Walker is heard saying in a darkened video. “Tomorrow, call your fucking boss and get me an experienced fucking driver out here because you are not that. And I’ve been trying to raise you up last night and you’re telling me I’m eating into your fucking drive time motherfucker.
“You told me you’d be here at 10-fucking-pm. You were not here you lying cunt. So when I come out of that bathroom, get your ass ready to drive and drive me smooth motherfucker, or you’re gonna regret it.”
Walker is then heard from a distance before adding, “All my shit is still fucking dirty back here. You know what? If you really wanted to fucking try and be part of this organization you’d have found a fucking washing machine. You told him you cleaned this bus till 4…”
The country singer isn’t seen in the video, but confirmed its authenticity to Music Mayhem Magazine via a statement through his publicist after fans began tagging him on social media asking for an explanation.
“This happened over a year ago and it came at the end of a long, tough weekend,” Walker states. “The bus driver and I reconciled immediately and we are friends and stay in touch.”
The video was shared by TikTok user @_i.am.brooke_, who claims her goal of sharing it was not to bully, but to be “sure it’s seen, and he doesn’t get away with this.” She also references Walker’s 1999 hit, “The Chain of Love,” by adding, “I guess the Chain of Love ends with him after all.”
