Clay Walker releases ‘Need A Bar Sometimes’ lyric video

Debut single from upcoming Show Dog Nashville album

Multi-platinum country entertainer and Show Dog Nashville artist Clay Walker knows that many are missing the comfort and familiarity of our favorite bars, sipping on our favorite drinks. While that isn’t today’s reality, he gives us a taste of the nightlife with his fun new lyric video for current single “Need A Bar Sometimes.”

Produced by Michael Knox (Jason Aldean) and Jaron Boyer (songwriter for Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Dustin Lynch), “Need A Bar Sometimes” was written by Walker with Waterloo Revival’s George Birge, Boyer and Josh Mirenda (Aldean, Bentley).

The track is Walker’s debut for Show Dog Nashville, which recently announced his signing. The song gained more than one million digital streams, upon its release last month.

Earlier this week, Walker appeared on The Bobby Bones Show to debut his new song and discuss everything from his previous hits to hearing his first song on the radio and more.

With four platinum albums and 11 No. 1 hits to his credit, Walker has been embracing the evolution of the genre and working with many of country music’s top songwriters. No slouch in that department himself, the native Texan has written or co-written many of his biggest hits including “Live Until I Die,” “Rumor Has It” and “I Can’t Sleep.” He is currently preparing to release his 12th studio album.
