Debut single from upcoming Show Dog Nashville album

Multi-platinum selling country singer and recently signed Show Dog Nashville recording artist Clay Walker just released “Need A Bar Sometimes,” his debut single for the label, which has already gained more than one million digital streams.

Produced by Michael Knox (Jason Aldean) and Jaron Boyer and co-written by Walker alongside Boyer, Josh Mirenda and George Birge, the neo-traditional track is framed by a future-forward steel guitar lick and airy musical bed, finding Walker’s celebrated vocals going down as smooth as a cold beer on a hot day.

With four platinum albums and 11 No. 1 hits to his credit, Walker has been embracing the evolution of the genre and working with many of country music’s top songwriters. No slouch in that department himself, the native Texan has written or co-written many of his biggest hits including “Live Until I Die,” “Rumor Has It” and “I Can’t Sleep.” He is currently preparing to release his 12th studio album.

This month, Show Dog Nashville celebrates the 15th anniversary of its founding by multi-platinum selling artist Toby Keith in Nashville, Tennessee. The label distributed by Thirty Tigers features a roster with a varied array of artists including established superstars such as Keith and Walker as well as rising and developing talent Krystal Keith and Waterloo Revival.
