The song is the group’s third since signing with TLG|Rock
Close Enemies, featuring Aerosmith bassist Tom Hamilton, has released its third single, “Sweet Baby Jesus,” via TLG|Rock with distribution through Virgin Music Group.
“Weโve all seen them, those drop-dead gorgeous beings that make you declare ‘Sweet baby Jesus!’ This is one of those encounters, set to a slinky groove layered with swampy guitar and slathered in barbecue sauce,” the band says.
The track follows “Sound of a Train” and “Inside Out.”
Close Enemies also features drummer Tony Brock from The Babys and Rod Stewart, touring guitarists Peter Stroud and Trace Foster, and singer Chasen Hampton, who was a member and co-host of the famed 90s Mickey Mouse Club and pop group The Party.
The group will hit the road in the summer, kicking off on June 12th in Cincinnati. The band will play smaller towns, with several appearances with Tom Keifer and Winger. Current dates are scheduled through November 15th at the World Famous Whisky A Go-Go in Hollywood.
