The special celebrates ten years in 2013
If you’re a country music fan then Monday night is your night. CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock airs on ABC August 12th at 8 pm ET/PT. Hosted by Little Big Town, the special comprises performances from Jason Aldean, Eric Church, Brad Paisley and more from the nightly concerts at LP Field, as well as fan interaction, during this year’s CMA Music Fest held in Nashville.
This year, the CMA celebrates ten years of CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock on TV. The special began airing in 2004 with Hank Williams, Jr. introducing Brooks & Dunn performing their hit “You Can’t Take The Honky Tonk Out Of The Girl,” and has featured artists from all genres surprising fans at the four day country music festival held every June in Downtown Nashville.
Besides Aldean, Church and Paisley, this year’s special features superstar performances by Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Kelly Clarkson, Sheryl Crow, Hunter Hayes, Kid Rock, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Tim McGraw, Blake Shelton, Kacey Musgraves, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Lenny Kravitz and many more. There will be special guest appearances by cast members of ABC’s Nashville and Dancing With The Stars along with Duck Dynasty.
