Intimate, one hour special features powerful performances from 29

CMT has revealed it will exclusively premiere the intimate one-hour concert special Carly Pearce – 29: Written In Stone (Live From Music City) on Saturday, May 20th at noon ET/PT on CMT, with subsequent re-airs on CMT Music and MTV Live.

Recorded live in front of a packed house in the heart of Music City, the concert closes the chapter on Pearce’s pivotal, critically-acclaimed and commercially- lauded album 29, marking a triumphant journey through heartbreak, personal loss and ultimate growth as a fearless female artist sharing her story. The 60-minute special event features nine powerful performances from Pearce, including songs with special guests Ashley McBryde, Lee Brice and Jenee Fleenor. The project was released as Pearce’s first-ever live album earlier this spring.

The special will encore throughout the month of May with CMT Defining: Carly Pearce, the brand’s all-new series Pearce kicked off last month in celebration of the 10th anniversary of its storied CMT Next Women of Country franchise.

2023 is set to be another big year for Pearce who racked her fourth career No. 1 at country radio with “What He Didn’t Do” as the song topped the Country Aircheck/Mediabase chart in March. The gold-certified hit, released via Big Machine Records, has amassed over 235 million streams to date. She also just completed an 18-show run as special guest on Blake Shelton’s Back To The Honky Tonk Tour. In April, the Grand Ole Opry member made her landmark 100th Opry performance since making her 2015 debut.
