Cody Jinks releases ‘The Others’

The song appears on his upcoming album

Multi-platinum singer-songwriter Cody Jinks releases “The Others” via his label, Late August Records. This is the third track to be released from his forthcoming album, In My Blood, due July 25th. Alongside the song, Jinks released the official music video for the track.

“The Others” is a heartfelt rocker that reflects Jinks’ desire to create music with lasting meaning. The song follows the voice of a man who’s spent his life on the move—physically, emotionally, and spiritually—but through it all, he’s guided by a deep desire to make his lyrics matter. With raw honesty and soul, Jinks sings not just for himself, but for anyone who’s ever felt like they were on the outside looking in.

The official music video, directed by Tim Cofield and filmed in Chattanooga, Tennessee, features Jinks and his band performing in a bar filled with misfits and drifters. As the video unfolds, the crowd comes together, drawn in by the music and the shared sense of belonging it creates. The video captures the unifying power of a song and serves as a reminder that music has the ability to connect people from all different backgrounds and walks of life.

In My Blood marks Cody Jinks’ eleventh studio album and signals a bold, personal evolution in both his career and life. Produced by Joshua Thompson and Charles Godfrey, the album leans into a darker, more soulful sound—fusing the grit of outlaw country with the fire of Southern rock. With its unvarnished instrumentation and Jinks’ unmistakable baritone at the center, the record navigates themes of perseverance, hard-earned wisdom, and the realities of blue-collar life. It’s not just a continuation of Jinks’ musical legacy—it’s a revealing look at a seasoned artist confronting where he’s come from and carving out where he’s headed next.

The electrifying performer who has sold over five million tickets to date, Jinks recently kicked off his headlining 2025 Hippies and Cowboys Tour, and recently announced his co-headlining Same Kind of Crazy Acoustic Tour with Ward Davis which will begin in November. Additionally, he will be gracing stages at FairWell Festival, Born and Raised Festival, and Tanglefoot festival this year.
