SiriusXM has announced that Grammy Award-winning British rock band Coldplay will perform a special invitation-only show for SiriusXM on Sunday, August 7th at a secret location. The performance will air live on SiriusXM’s The Spectrum channel. The special performance for SiriusXM will feature Coldplay performing songs from their 20 year career, including music from their new album A Head Full of Dreams.

“This feels like the perfect time to play this special show for SiriusXM listeners. Someone just needs to tell us the secret location and we’ll be there,” the band says in a statement.

“We couldn’t be more excited that Coldplay, one of the most acclaimed bands working today, will step away from its global tour playing stadiums and arenas to present an intimate event for SiriusXM at a special location,” said Scott Greenstein, President and Chief Content Officer, SiriusXM. “Our subscribers nationwide will hear a special show performed just for them from the band that has become one of the top artists in the world.”

The private performance will air live on Sunday, August 7th on SiriusXM’s The Spectrum, channel 28, and through the SiriusXM app on smartphones and other connected devices, as well as online at siriusxm.com.

SiriusXM subscribers who have had an account since June 28th will have the exclusive opportunity to enter to win tickets to Coldplay’s private August 7th SiriusXM performance beginning July 19th.
