The J. Cole-produced collaboration heralds Cordae’s eagerly-awaited new album
Three-time Grammy Award-nominated and Emmy Award-winning rapper Cordae has reteamed with eight-time Grammy Award-winner Anderson .Paak for the new single, “Summer Drop,” is available now via ART@WAR/Atlantic Records. Produced like their two previous hit collaborations by two-time Grammy Award-winner J. Cole, the track is joined by an official music video, directed by Samba and streaming now at YouTube.
The song heralds the arrival of Cordae’s hugely anticipated third album, The Crossroads, arriving at long last later this year. The track marks the third collaboration between Cordae and Anderson .Paak, following last year’s smash “Two Tens” and 2019’s RIAA platinum-certified “RNP.”
This summer saw the release of Cordae’s first new single in almost one year, “Saturday Mornings,” available now. Produced by Grammy Award-winner Boogz (Kanye West, Travis Scott, Drake & 21 Savage). An official music video – directed by longtime collaborator APLUS (Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar) – boasts over four million views via YouTube.
