The song is his first in the new year
Dalton Dover starts the new year off with “Ain’t It Easy,” his new song via UMG Nashville/Mercury Records.
“‘Ain’t It Easy’ is a song about how hard it is finding your person, but when you do find them everything that seemed hard all of a sudden seems so easy,” Dover states. “It really is a journey finding the right one, but once you do everything starts to fall into place.”
Written by Dalton Dover, Matthew McVaney, Matt McGinn and Alex Maxwell, and produced by longtime collaborator Matt McVaney (McV), the song talks about mistakes made and finding new love.
Last year, the Nashville recording artist released the single “Bury Me In This Bar” and Take Me Home: Covers, which showcases his roots and influences growing up in Georgia. Dover’s debut radio single “Giving Up On That” was the most-added track at country radio upon its debut with 60 first-week adds and can be found on his EP Never Giving Up On That, featuring eight tracks including “Night To Go,” “Baby I Am,” “Hear About A Girl” and more.
