The song will be available on February 27th
Acclaimed Italian singer-songwriter Damiano David has announced the news of his next single “Next Summer.” The track will be unveiled on Thursday, February 27th at 7 pm ET/4 pm PT.
The anthemic track will be the third song from Damiano’s eagerly anticipated debut solo project. It follows the vibrant, hook-laden first single “Born With A Broken Heart” and the theatrical, stunningly wrought “Silverlines.” David’s latest release is a cover of Mark Ronson and Miley Cyrus’ international smash single “Nothing Breaks Like A Heart” for Spotify Singles for Valentine’s Day.
“At first listen, the song speaks about youthful love—an unrequited summer romance,” David shares on socials. “But on a deeper level, it reveals a much larger reflection. It’s an allegory of life—How sometimes we can be prisoners of ourselves, our fears, our insecurities, our inability to change. Our failure to see the world and life from a different perspective in the crucial and defining moments of existence.”
David will embark on a massive 2025 global tour with dates across Europe, Australia, North America, South America, and Asia this year. Encompassing 33 dates across five continents, with multiple sold-out shows, venue upgrades, and additional dates added, it is a true statement of intent as he continues to
introduce himself on the world stage.
Damiano David has already made his name as an acclaimed Italian singer-songwriter, where his journey from the streets of Rome to international stardom and establishing himself as a powerhouse in the global music scene, rewrote the rulebook for a new generation of artists. Damiano received global recognition and critical acclaim as the lead vocalist of Måneskin, who were nominated for Best New Artist at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards, praised for his charismatic stage presence and powerful vocals fronting the first Italian band to break on a truly global scale.
