Album broke records upon release

Dan + Shay made history on day one of their Good Things album launch when it became the first country album in the streaming era to achieve RIAA Gold certification at release. Less than three weeks and 800,000 album equivalents later, the album has also earned more than one billion streams in the US alone and nearly 2.5 billion streams worldwide. The album has already yielded three No. 1 singles, including the 4x Platinum-certified “10,000 Hours (with Justin Bieber),” the Platinum-certified “I Should Probably Go To Bed,” and most recently, the Gold-certified “Glad You Exist.” Their new single, “Steal My Love,” continues their momentum, complete with a blockbuster, bank-robbing, crowd dance video.

In other new music news, the duo joined superstar Carrie Underwood for the duet “Only Us” featured on the forthcoming Dear Evan Hansen (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack). The single is now available while the full soundtrack arrives September 24th.

The pair are bringing “Good Things” to Sunday TODAY this weekend (Sept 5th) on NBC. The duo join anchor Willie Geist for the “Sunday Sitdown” to discuss creating their new album, the upcoming Dan + Shay The (Arena) Tour and much more. Geist, an NBC News stalwart and New York Times bestselling author, has interviewed some of the biggest names in news, music, pop culture and CEO’s about the stories behind their successes.

The duo is also in final rehearsals for the September 9th kick off of their massive headlining Dan + Shay The (Arena) Tour. The explosive tour will also feature Atlantic Records’ The Band Camino and labelmate Ingrid Andress on all 30+ dates, which include stops in Los Angeles, San Diego and New York for a night at the famed Madison Square Garden. The (Arena) Tour had major success when it kicked off in March 2020, selling out three consecutive shows, including two back-to-back in Nashville, TN.
