Ahead of the release of the Sound City documentary that’s due to come out this Tuesday, March 12th, John Fogerty joined Dave Grohl’s Sound City Players for a rollicking, rocking version of “Fortunate Son.”
Grohl makes his directing debut with the film that documents the historic studio where Metallica, Nirvana and many more have created some of their finest work. The film will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on Tuesday and will feature Tom Petty, Lars Ulrich, Rick Rubin, Frank Black and more.
Is there anyone that ISN’T interested in this documentary? With all the different artists that participated, the mass appeal is almost appalling.
