Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic appear on ‘Tonight Show’

The pair appear in support of their induction into the Rock Hall

Nirvana’s Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic made an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Wednesday night as part of the show’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame week.

The pair spoke to Fallon about their antics with Kurt Cobain and how they managed to end their sets each night without performing an encore, and how surreal it was recording and performing with Paul McCartney. The pair even introduced musical guest Stevie Nicks and Fallon (as Tom Petty) for a live re-creation of her classic 1981 “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around” music video. Watch both videos below.

Nirvana will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame tonight (April 10th) at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn along with Kiss, Peter Gabriel, Hall and Oates, Linda Ronstadt, Cat Stevens, Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band and The Rolling Stones managers, Andrew Loog Oldham and Brian Epstein, who will each earn Ahmet Ertegun awards, a non-performing honor.

The show will premiere on HBO on Saturday, May 31st at 9 pm ET/PT.
