Dave Grohl loses voice, forces Foo Fighters to postpone two shows

Both shows have been rescheduled for October

Foo Fighters have had to reschedule two shows on the Canadian leg of the Concrete and Gold tour due to Dave Grohl suffering from a loss of voice. The shows for Tuesday, September 4th in Edmonton at Rogers Place and Thursday, September 6th in Calgary at Scotiabank Saddledome have been rescheduled for October 22nd and 23rd, respectively.

After opening this leg of the tour September 1st at Safeco Field in Seattle, Dave Grohl suffered a loss of voice and is now on vocal rest. “That’s the last time I ever make out with Bono,” Grohl jokes, referring to U2 postponing a show on Saturday after Bono suddenly lost his voice four songs into the second Berlin show on their eXPERIENCE + iNNOCENCE Tour.

Previously purchased tickets will be honored for both new dates. If a refund is required, refunds are available at point of purchase until September 25th.

The Concrete and Gold tour will resume September 8th in Vancouver at Pepsi Live at Rogers Arena. Foo Fighters are, as always, grateful for understanding and support of their fans everywhere and look forward to seeing everyone in Edmonton and Calgary in October.
