Dave Grohl rocks with Zac Brown Band at CMA Awards

Grohl is reportedly producing the band’s next album

Dave Grohl went country a little bit, but still rocked hard, on Wednesday night (Nov 6th) when he performed with the Zac Brown Band at the 47th Annual CMA Awards live from Nashville on ABC. Grohl pounded the drums while the band debuted a brand new single called “Day For The Dead.” The song is expected to appear on the band’s forthcoming album which has yet to be revealed as of press time.

This was the first time the song was debuted on TV, but the band has been performing the catchy uptempo southern rocker on tour all summer long, including a recent two night sold out stand at the legendary Hollywood Bowl.

No word if Grohl laid down the drum tracks for the studio version, but the Foo Fighters frontman is reportedly producing the next ZBB album.
