On Wednesday (May 8th), David Bowie released a video for his song “The Next Day,” the title track from his latest album The Next Day. “The Next Day” is the third video Bowie has released from the album. Other songs with videos include “The Stars (Are Out Tonight)” and “Where Are We Now.”
The Next Day has been met with critical aplomb, with review aggregation site Metacritic showing it with “universal acclaim” from critics. The album also debuted at #1 on the UK album chart, Bowie’s first since Black Tie White Noise in 1991. The album entered at #2 on the Billboard 200 in the US, his highest charting album there.
It’s been rumored that Bowie will tour at some point in 2013, his first in ages, but no shows have been confirmed.
