Show is at the O2 Forum
Deftones have announced an exclusive intimate show at London’s O2 Forum on June 13th with special guest Grandson. This, and their main stage performance at Download Festival the preceding weekend, will be the band’s first in the UK since they released their ninth full length, Ohms in September of 2020.
An O2 presale starts Wednesday, May 18th at 9 am local time, followed by a Live Nation presale on Thursday, May 19th at 9 am local time. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, May 20th at 9 am local time via Ticketmaster.
The group hits the road this summer with Gojira after postponing twice due to the pandemic. The group recently parted ways with bassist Sergio Vega, with former Marilyn Manson bassist Fred Sabla stepping in.
Ohms marked the sixth consecutive Top 10 debut and fourth Top 5 entry from the GRAMMY Award-winning Sacramento band. Upon its release, Ohms captured No. 1 on the Hard Rock Albums Chart, No. 1 on the Vinyl Albums Chart, No. 1 on the Tastemakers Chart, No. 2 on the Top Rock Albums Chart, and No. 3 on the Top ALT Albums Chart. The album also eclipsed first-week sales of 49K total units and an impressive 13K vinyl units.
