Demi Lovato, The Band Perry, Jake Owen, Randy Travis, Cole Swindell, AJR and more joined BeautyKind, an online retailer where consumers can shop prestige beauty brands while raising funds for charities of their choice, for a first-of-its-kind concert Saturday, March 25th at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas as part of their BeautyKind Unites: Concert for Causes series. The inaugural concert raised $2 million dollars for the American Heart Association and featured award-winning artists including Demi Lovato, The Band Perry, Jake Owen, Cole Swindell, AJR and Randy Travis, who kicked off the debut of the BeautyKind Unites: Concert for Causes series by entertaining a crowd of thousands.
Hot 93.3 DJ Dustin Cross took to the stage to present the night’s first act, Indie-pop band, AJR. The group electrified the arena with their hit singles, “I’m Ready” and “Weak” against a playful backdrop.
Following their performance, DJ’s Trey Morgan of 99.5 FM and Jasmine Sadry of 96.3 FM introduced Founder and CEO of BeautyKind Hil Davis, who greeted everyone and spoke about the purpose of the Concert for Causes series.
The Band Perry then took to the stage to set the tone of the evening by delivering a lively set that mixed their new hits like “Stay in The Dark” and fan favorites like “If I Die Young” and “Chainsaw.”
In a moving moment, members from American Cancer Society brought a family to the stage whose youngest child had been affected by cancer. and is now a survivor. The little girl’s mother made a call to action to the audience, reminding them of the impact their support has on everyday people.
Cole Swindell kicked off his set with fan-favorite, “Flatliner,” then, with a blue solo cup-in-hand, he kept the crowd riled up with “Ain’t Worth The Whiskey” and instructed the audience to lead the chorus for what he deemed, “the biggest karaoke party he’s ever been to.” Near the end of his set, the lights dimmed as Swindell played his hit, “You Should Be Here,” a touching tribute to his late father.
Country Legend, Randy Travis and his wife, Mary, returned to the stage for the first time in North Texas to perform “Amazing Grace.” After the first verse, DJ’s Trey Morgan and Jasmine Sadry joined Randy to continue the song alongside everyone in the audience. Following the performance, Hil Davis graciously presented a $2 million check to the American Heart Association to help them reach their goal of preventing, treating and beating heart disease and stroke.

After a special introduction by a Make A Wish child, headliner Demi Lovato, dressed in a gold sequined outfit, blasted out her hits including, “Confident,” “Heart Attack,” and “Neon Lights” where she playfully put on a cowgirl hat, alluding to her Texan roots. Demi then expressed her excitement to be back in Dallas and moved the crowd with a heart-felt rendition of “Lionheart,” which she dedicated to her late great-grandmother. She closed out her show stopping set with “Cool For The Summer.”
Directly after her performance, BeautyKind Creative Director, Bryan Kokkeler honored the Make A Wish foundation, which led into the organization’s Director of Medical Outreach in North Texas, Jean Cooper sharing a magical story of how they made a young boy; Tucker’s dreams come true.

The already epic night concluded with an adrenaline-filled performance by Jake Owen, who serenaded fans with a medley of his top hits, including “Anywhere With You” and “American Country Love Song.” One of the highlights came when barefoot Owen left the stage during his performance of “The One That Got Away” to run through the stadium getting up close and personal with concertgoers.
At the end of his performance Jake brought back on Hil Davis, Founder and CEO of BeautyKind, Midge LaPorte Epstein, EVP of the American Heart Association and other key members from the other charities for a final sign-off.
