“This past year has been one of the most transformative years of my life, and I’m looking forward to bringing my fans on this journey of continued growth and self discovery in both my music and my personal experiences,” states Lovato.
“Throughout my career, I’ve been inspired by creativity and reinvention, and Demi Lovato’s journey in this new series I Am: Demi Lovato epitomizes what can happen when inner strength, determination and drive combines with artistic vision,” says Susanne Daniels, Global Head of Original Content, YouTube.

Lovato, who originally started posting videos to YouTube in 2008, is one of the biggest names on social media with three billion video views on YouTube alone, plus 43 million Twitter followers, 57 million Instagram followers and over 38 million fans on Facebook.
The Katy Perry Live Special will take fans inside of Perry’s world, revealing the experiences and emotions she poured into her all-new soul baring music on the eve of her highly anticipated album launch. With unique access, global reach and surprise fun packed along the way, Perry will break it all down in this album listen along, and there just might be fireworks if fans stick around long enough. After the main event, Perry will perform a set of her blockbuster hits including “Dark Horse,” “Teenage Dream” and “Firework,” along with new songs “Chained to the Rhythm” and “Bon Appetit.”
Last week, the company announced Best.Cover.Ever., a cutting-edge talent competition created by Ryan Seacrest Productions and Endemol Shine North America. Best.Cover.Ever. gives emerging musicians from around the world a chance for international fame. The series is hosted by Grammy Award-winning artist Ludacris and features Lovato, Backstreet Boys and Jason Derulo.
Lovato, Perry and Ludacris join Kevin Hart, Rhett and Link, Ellen DeGeneres and The Slow Mo Guys as seven new series debuting this fall. These new shows will be ad-supported, meaning brands can be a part of content that’s generating buzz around the world. No specific release dates have been announced.
