Online fest runs Mar 16-20th
Demi Lovato, Mary J Blige and Carole King are among the musician Featured Speakers during SXSW Online, running March 16-20th. Lovato will discuss trans rights in the United States during a panel while Mary J Blige talks about her STARZ seriesย Power Universe Collides. Carole King will be the subject of conversation with Sony Music Publishing Chairman and CEO Jon Platt.

New documentaries by Lovato and Tom Petty headline the SXSW Film Festival. Demi Lovato: Dancing with the Devil opens the SXSW Film Festival with its world premiere, and explores every aspect that led to Lovatoโs nearly fatal overdose in 2018, and her awakenings in the aftermath. Tom Petty, Somewhere You Feel Free will make its world premiere as a Centerpiece Film, featuring 16mm film showing Petty at work on his 1994 record Wildflowers.
