GRAMMY-nominated global superstar Demi Lovato has released “Skin of My Teeth” via Island Records.

The track is brought to life in the cinematic visual, directed by Nick Harwood. The video sees Lovato being haunted by a demon figure who symbolizes several of the hardships heard throughout the song, ultimately ending in Lovato finding the inner strength to overpower them. “Skin of My Teeth” was produced by Warren Felder (Oak Felder), and written by Lovato, Alex Niceforo, Keith Sorrells, Laura Veltz, and Aaron Puckett (lil aaron).

The single is the first release off from Lovato’s forthcoming eighth studio album, Holy Fvck, arriving Friday, August 19th. The 16-track album is a sonic journey grounded in Lovato’s rock and pop-punk roots and illustrates an earnest yet tongue-in-cheek retrospective of life experiences.

Lovato most recently announced the upcoming Holy Fvck Fall Tour. Produced by Live Nation, the 32-date tour kicks off on Tuesday, August 13th in Springfield, IL at the Illinois State Fair before making stops across South and North America in Belo Horizonte, Bogotá, San Francisco, Montreal, Nashville and more before wrapping up in Irving, TX at The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory on Sunday, November 6th. Dead Sara and Royal & The Serpent will support on select North American dates. Tickets and VIP packages go on sale starting Friday, June 10th at 10 am local time.
