This is the first music video for the hit single

After hundreds of thousands of fan requests across platforms, Dixie D’Amelio enters the country music scene with Cheat Codes and Russell Dickerson on a remix version of the hit single “I Remember (Dixie Remix).”

“I first heard ‘I Remember’ on a random playlist in my car. I remember when I stopped at a stoplight, I immediately hit the ‘back’ button so I could listen to it again… and then again,” D’Amelio recalls. “Before I knew it, I was unintentionally playing the song for everyone around me. I think I fell onto the ground when I got the call that Cheat Codes wanted to do a remix with me. Needless to say, I am so beyond excited about this release. I also really loved recording my part on this song because musically it’s so different from what I’ve done before. I’m just really grateful and honored to all of the guys for letting me be a part of this track.”

The music video showcases D’Amelio, Cheat Codes and Dickerson popping up at a variety of places around New York City. The group is seen at the very top of the Empire State Building, surprise performing at Marquee Nightclub, and getting late-night tattoos with the sought after ink artist Jon Boy Tattoo. D’Amelio is seen getting a tattoo of a “C” on her left ring finger – which fans are already suggesting was in dedication to her sister Charli.

On summer tour, performing at iconic venues nationwide such as Madison Square Garden and MGM National Harbour, D’Amelio covered Carrie Underwood’s “Before He Cheats” where fans instantly became attached to the idea of her jumping into the country genre. Clips of D’Amelio covering the hit song quickly made its way to the For You Page across TikTok, where it trended throughout the summer tour.
