Drum legend Terry Bozzio has announced a two month-long 2014 North American tour called “An Evening with Terry Bozzio.” Bozzio, who is famous for teaching polyrhythms (the simultaneous use of two or more conflicting rhythms), will perform solo drum music on the world’s largest tuned drum and percussion set.
The tour kicks off August 23rd in Denver with stops in Tulsa, New York City, Nashville, Little Rock, Chicago and more before wrapping October 20th in Portland, OR.
Bozzio has performed with a who’s who of musicians including, but not limited to, Frank Zappa, Missing Persons, Jeff Beck, Dokken, Richard Marx, Steve Vai, Duran Duran, The Knack, Billy Sheehan and Korn, along with fellow drummers Chad Wackerman, Mike Portnoy and Jimmy Chamberlain, among others.
