Bowie 1980 available March 26th

ECHO has announced the second print in the David Bowie Poster Series by artist Ken Taylor, entitled Bowie 1980. Taylor’s striking piece is based on the “Scary Monsters (and Super Creeps)” era of Bowie’s career. Taylor visually celebrates this influential incarnation of the Artist, presenting a classic look at the Bowie legend during a pivotal period in time.

Ken Taylor’s Bowie 1980 will be an 18” x 24” eight-color silk-screened poster, available in three limited-edition versions: Bowie 1980 (Gallery Edition on Cotton Rag) – 250 pcs / $100; Bowie 1980 (Gold Foil Variant) – 100 pcs / $100; and Bowie 1980 (Holographic Lava Foil Variant) – 100 pcs / $100.

Ken Taylor’s Bowie 1980 poster will drop on Friday, March 26th beginning at 2 pm EST/11 am PST at EchoPrintGallery.com.

The first series launched on Bowie’s birthday in January featuring Sam Gilbey’s The Sound of Light. The series sold out quickly, however, fans can still purchase a limited number of subscription variants that includes all 12 prints in the 2021 series. Other artists in the Bowie series include NC Winters, Jermaine Rogers, Frank Kozik, Gabz, Luke Martin, Tara McPherson, Justin Hampton, Miles Tsang, and other surprise artists to be announced.

AC/DC, Jimi Hendrix and Pink Floyd are among the other poster print series ECHO has released with other surprises expected.
