New song “The Haves” available now

Eddie Vedder has announced that his highly anticipated new album, Earthling, will be available on February 11th via Seattle Surf/Republic Records. The set will be available on Deluxe CD, CD, LP and cassette. In addition, Vedder has released the second song from the upcoming album titled “The Haves.”

Earthling, which was produced by Grammy Award winning producer Andrew Watt, is the first album since Vedder’s 2011 Ukulele Songs. Fans can also purchase a special limited edition 7-inch vinyl featuring “Long Way” and “The Haves” via Pearl Jam’s Ten Club.

Recently Vedder unveiled some of his new music at Ohana Festival where he performed numerous headlining solo sets as well as a set with Pearl Jam. Vedder also cowrote “My Father’s Daughter” from the Flag Day Original Motion Picture Soundtrack voiced by his daughter Olivia Vedder. The 13 track soundtrack features eight new compositions by Vedder & Glen Hansard and serves as the musical companion to the Cannes Film Festival selected film Flag Day starring and directed by Academy Award winner Sean Penn and starring his daughter Dylan Penn.

In I Am Mine, the latest edition of Audible’s Words + Music series, Vedder dives deep, reflecting on a life at the intersection of art, sensitivity, and masculinity. Vedder is characteristically honest about the challenges of remaining authentic in the face of staggering success. He delivers a raw, emotional story on the perils and joys of fame and friendship, punctuated with exclusive music performance featuring new renditions of classic tracks from both Vedder and Pearl Jam.

In other news, Pearl Jam is set to launch its 2020 postponed North American tour dates in May 2022. The grunge rockers were set to trek through Europe in summer 2021, but dates were postponed due pandemic-related restrictions. The European leg kicks off with a pair of shows in Amsterdam on June 14th and 15th. Stops include Berlin, Zurich, Frankfurt, Copenhagen, London, Paris and more before wrapping July 22nd in Prague.
