Shows are being rescheduled

Elton John has postponed both Dallas shows of Farewell Yellow Brick Road after testing positive for COVID. The rock star, who relaunched the tour last week, was set to perform on February 25th and 26th, but has shared new dates are in the works.

“It’s always a massive disappointment to move shows and I’m so sorry to anyone who’s been inconvenienced by this but I want to keep myself and my team safe,” he writes via his Instagram Story. “Fortunately, I’m fully vaccinated and boosted and my symptoms are mild so I’m fully expecting to be able to make the Arkansas shows this weekend.”

New dates for both Dallas shows will be announced. Tickets will be honored for the new dates.

As of this writing, shows are set to resume January 29th in North Little Rock, AR. The tour has dates scheduled through 2023 with several rescheduled stops to be announced.

John has performed more than 180 shows since the multi-year trek started in in Allentown, PA in September 2018. It’s John’s largest and best production to date, and he’s teamed with Gucci to feature a variety of costumes.
