Emerging new Rebel Rock/Interscope recording artist Leroy Sanchez releases debut single

The singer has nearly 49 million views on his YouTube channel

Leroy Sanchez, emerging Rebel Rock/Interscope recording artist, releases his debut single “By My Side” today (Jan 27th) on iTunes, Google Play and Amazon. With nearly 49 million YouTube views to date, Sanchez was discovered by GRAMMY Award winning producer/songwriter Jim Jonsin while searching YouTube for new artists to add to his label roster. Jonsin (“Lollipop” Lil Wayne, “There Goes My Baby” Usher, “Sweet Dreams” Beyonce, “Whatever You Like” T.I., and more), flew Sanchez from his hometown in Spain, directly to his recording studio in Florida. Sanchez was subsequently signed to Rebel Rock/Interscope records, with plans for the new single release. Currently, he is on the “Wild Card” nationwide tour with Kate Voegele.

From the rural mountains of the Basque countryside of Spain, Sanchez self-taught himself to play guitar and sing; it was at the age of 15, when he began uploading cover videos on YouTube. Since signing with the label, Sanchez has worked with an impressive array of producers and songwriters including Jonsin, Rico Love, Danja, the Futuristics, Frank Romano, Finatik & Zac and Jenn Decilveo. In 2014, Sanchez joined the Pepsi-sponsored High School Nation Tour, performing at 14 high schools for more than 2,500 students at each stop, and subsequently opened for Nick Carter and Jordan Knight on the Nick and Knight tour.

Sanchez is also gifted artist and painter, and is dedicated to giving back by working with CoachArt, an organization that aims to provide life changing experiences to children suffering from chronic and/or life threatening illnesses through the art of music.
