Eminem matches charity donations for Giving Tuesday

The rapper will match dollar-for-dollar donations

Rapper Eminem is giving back this holiday season by offering assistance to Wolverine Human Services through his Marshall Mathers Foundation.

This Tuesday, December 3rd is known as Giving Tuesday in which the Detroit rapper will match dollar-for-dollar any donation made to Wolverine Human Services which provides care for youth throughout the state of Michigan.

The Marshall Mathers Foundation’s mission is to provide funds for organizations working with at-risk youth in southeast Michigan and throughout the U.S.

When Eminem learned about Wolverine’s mission, he agreed to partner with them on behalf of the Marshall Mathers Foundation, which works with non-profits that are active in the fight to support disadvantaged youths. The foundation will match donations up to $100,000.

Giving Tuesday, the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, was created in 2012 as a national day of charitable giving. The day encourages charitable support of non-profit organizations with the money shoppers save on Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday.

You can donate to Wolverine Human Services online.
